In order to attach the flaps to the actuator, an opening for the flap pushrod must be cut in the fuselage skin.
The hole ends up having a very distinct shape, which is the result of an iterative process of grinding.
Gradually moving the actuator to a position just before the pushrod touches the skin whitout damaging the pushrod is almost impossible. We used a spare pushrod.
